Carl Mizell is what the kids would call a "multihyphenate": writer, actor, director, musician, comedian, and (perhaps most annoyingly) podcast host. He is also a husband, father, and the holder-downer of a day job.
Prior to co-hosting Cheap Smut and Put Me In, Coach!, he created the short-lived podcast This Is Not My Job. On the show, he interviewed creatives in various fields about how they balanced their art with their day jobs. He is fully aware of the irony of shelving his podcast about balancing work and art because he could not balance his work and his art.
Carl resides in Lansing, Michigan with his wife Katie, their two children, their dog, and their two cats. He is proud to be from Flint, Michigan.
